Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing to opposite parties nos. 1 to 4 more specifically opposite parties nos. 2 to 4 to remove illegal/unlawful encroachment done by the opposite party no. 6 to 9 over the land of gata No.257/0.1090 hectare which is recorded as Khalihan, situated in Village-Chafaria, Post Office- Dharmanpur, Block-Chittaura, Police Station-Risia, Tahsil & District-Bahraich and take appropriate action against the opposite party no. 6 and 7 under the Public Property Damages Act. 3. The Standing Counsel based upon the instructions states that the proceedings for removal of the encroachment are pending. 4. In view of the said statement, the present petition is disposed off with direction to conclude the proceedings in accordance with law within a period of ninety days.
