Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 190/2024, arising out of Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 37/2024, Corresponding to G. R. Case No. 389/2024, registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, charge-sheet has been submitted under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 03/04 of the Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-Cum-Spl. Judge, Gumla. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.9040 of 2024 by order dated 04.02.2025. On 20.05.2024, wife of the informant was murdered by unknown person. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended and, on his confession, Basula, which was used in committing the murder of the deceased was recovered. Mr. A. K. Chaturvedy, learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that the seizure list does not bear the signature of this petitioner. It was further submitted that statement of the informant has been recorded during trial in which she has stated that the murder weapon was recovered from the place of occurrence itself. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected once again. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
