PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR.No.38 of 2020, on the file of Pedana Police Station, Krishna District. 2. When the petition came up for hearing on 15.04.2021, this Court has passed the following order: “In the circumstances, there shall be an interim direction permitting the investigating officer to complete the investigation at the earliest. However, in view of the prima-facie case in favour of the petitioners, there shall be a direction not to take any coervice steps against the petitioners including arrest of the petitioners.” 3. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor on oral instructions has informed this Court that in view of the order passed by this Court on 15.04.2021, the Police have proceeded with the investigation and investigated nine (09) witnesses, but, till date, no charge sheet has been filed and requested time to file the same. 4. In view of the fact that the investigation in the present case was not stalled by this Court and as no charge sheet has been filed till date, the Police are directed to file a charge sheet in the present petition after completion of the investigation and get it numbered as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the Police are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners. 5. Accordingly, this criminal petition is disposed of.
