Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer: "(i) To direct the O.P. No. 1 to decide the suit/petition no. 14/2025 Amar Singh Vs. Akanksha Pandey pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow expeditiously by waiving off the cooling period of six months within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. The present petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file an application for waiving of the cooling period, which shall be disposed of in the light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Amardeep Singh Versus Harveen Kaur (2017) 8 SCC 746 within a period of one week from the date of such application being moved. This order has been passed in terms of the statement that the petitioner proposes to re-marry on 26.04.2025.
