Mr. Mahesh Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Jayvardhan Kandpal, learned Brief Holder for the State/respondent no. 1 and Mr. Rajesh Sharma, learned counsel for Union of India. 2. The petitioners’ grievances are that they have been engaged under the scheme for providing education in Madarsa, however, certain benefits are not being given to the petitioners and in reference to which, they have submitted a joint representation on 03.12.2024 to the Secretary, Ministry of Minority Welfare, Government of India. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners may be given an opportunity to make a fresh representation to the Competent Authority. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is finally disposed with a liberty to the petitioners to make a fresh representation to the Competent Authority and if such a representation is made, the Competent Officer shall decide the same, as early as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receiving of the representation, by a reasoned and speaking order, strictly as per the mandate of the scheme. 2025:UHC:569 5.
