The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding respondents no. 2 and 3 to demolish illegal constructions raised by the respondents no.5 and 6 over plot no. 117/L/329, Block L Naveen Nagar Kakadeo Kanpur. 2. The case of the petitioner is that respondents no. 6 and 7 have made illegal constructions over the aforesaid land. 3. On the previous date, the following order was passed: "1. None appears for the parties except learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. Put up as fresh on 21.04.2025." 4. On matter being taken up today Sri A.P. Paul, learned counsel for the respondent Development Authority states that respondents no. 5 and 6 had submitted compounding plan and in principle the same has been approved subject to their furnishing an undertaking that they will demolish the non-compoundable part of the building. 5. In view of the said development, we dispose of the instant petition with liberty to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy, if so advised, against the approval of the compounding plan.
