01. During the pendency of this bail application, charge sheet is stated to have been filed before the court of learned Principal Sessions Judge, Rajouri. It appears that even charges have been framed, however, the statement of the prosecutrix is yet to be recorded. The petitioner is on interim anticipatory bail pursuant to
order dated 07.02.2025 passed by this Court which is still in force.
02. Having regard to the fact that the charge sheet stands already filed before the trial court, it would be appropriate for the petitioner to approach the said court for grant of regular bail. In case, the petitioner Serial No. 01

approaches the trial court for grant of regular bail, the victim besides the prosecution shall be heard before taking a decision in the matter.
03. In view of the above, the bail application is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned trial court for regular bail. The interim protection granted by this Court vide order dated 07.02.2025 shall remain in force for a period of ten days from today so as to enable the petitioner to approach the learned trial court.

05. A copy of this order be sent to learned Principal Sessions Judge, Rajouri, for information.
