The petitioner seeks an insurance amount under the Janta Personal Accident Policy which has been formulated based on an agreement between the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Oriental Insurance Company Limited. The petitioner relies upon Annexure No. 1 which is a communication by the District Magistrate, Sitapur to the Senior Regional Manager, Oriental Insurance Company Limited for deciding the claim of the petitioner and paying the due amount of insurance. The same has not been paid Let the petitioner approach the opposite party no. 4 who shall get the facts verified and do the needful as per law. Whatever decision is taken, should be communicated to the petitioner within one month. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, he can raise a grievance before the permanent Lok Adalat under Section 22-A of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, if permissible. The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
