Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A., who appears on behalf of the State- respondents. 2. This petition has been filed with the following main prayers:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to harass the petitioners. (ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to interfere in the peaceful marriage life of the petitioners." 3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioner no.1 and petitioner no.2 are both major, who on their own volition and free will have got married out of their own sweet will with each other in accordance with Hindu rites and rituals on 01.02.2025 at Arya Samaj Sector H (Harsh Vihar Purania), Aliganj, Lucknow, but the family members of petitioner no.2 are unhappy with such marriage. In support of his submission that petitioners no.1 and 2 are major, learned counsel for the petitioners has drawn our attention to the annexure no.2. They are being harassed by the opposite party No.4, who is the father of petitioner No.2. He has also submitted that in the case of the petitioners, there is no F.I.R. lodged. They therefore prayed for the benefit of the judgement rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lata Singh vs. State of U.P. and another, 2006 (5) SCC 475. 4. The learned A.G.A. has produced before this Court instructions sent by Sub-Inspector Premchand Singh, Police Station Mailani, District Kheri, wherein, it has been stated that a first information report has been lodged against the petitioner No.1, Arun Kumar on 05.02.2025 as F.I.R. No.0012 of 2025, under Sections 137(2) and 87 B.N.S., Police Station Sehramau North, District Pilibhit. 5. The said instructions are kept on record. 6. At this stage, the counsel for the petitioners submits that he wishes to withdraw this writ petition and prays for liberty to file a fresh petition. 7.
