She was promoted as Head Mistress, Government Junior High School vide order dated 12.9.2025 and has also been transferred to Government Junior High School, Masrari, Block Mori, Uttarkashi. Feeling aggrieved by her transfer, petitioner has approached this Court. (3) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the institution where petitioner is presently serving is a durgam place and total service rendered by her in durgam places is more than 30 years, therefore there is no point in transferring her to another durgam place, when petitioner wants to serve at the same place where she is serving presently or any nearby place which is categorised as durgam. (4) Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner has made a representation and the competent authority shall examine the issue, as per applicable policy. (5) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to District Education Officer, Uttarkashi to take decision on petitioner’s representation dated 17.9.2025, as per law, within six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
