Dhaulta, Additional Advocate General. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge A previous petition moved by the petitioner under Section 29-A of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 (in short ‘the Act’), bearing Arbitration Case No.948 of 2024, seeking extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings, was disposed of on 31.12.2024. Time for passing the final award was extended by four months w.e.f. 23.12.2024. 2. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner submits that both sides have completed their submissions before the learned Arbitrator. Only the award remains to be 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 announced. However, the period allowed for passing the final award has elapsed on 22.04.2025. Hence, prayer has been made in this petition moved under Section 29-A of the Act for further extension of the mandate of Arbitral Tribunal. 3. Taking note of the submissions made by learned counsel on both sides as also keeping in view the fact that the parties have already completed their submissions before the Arbitral Tribunal, the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by two months w.e.f. 22.04.2025.
