Learned counsel for the respondents submits that a decision has been taken by the respondents-Corporation to pay the arrears amounting to Rs.8,48,278/- to the petitioner. He further informs the Court that out of the said amount, an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- stands paid, whereas Rs.1,82,759/- shall be credited in the account of the petitioner today itself. As far as the balance is concerned, informs the Court that it will be paid in two equal installments in the month of May, 2026 and May, 2027. 3. Mr. Manohar Lal Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the light of this development, these proceedings be closed, but with liberty to the petitioner to assail the act of the respondents of paying the arrears to the petitioner in 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 installments. 4.
