This Habeas Corpus petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu namely A.Malliga, wife of Arumugam aged about 23 years 2. The complaint of the petitioner dated 30.01.2025, regarding missing of her daughter namely A.Malliga did not yield any result. Hence the present petition. 3. The respondent police has secured the petitioner's daughter and produced before this Court. She states that she is not happy to be with her husband and her child and therefore, she has deserted them. It appears that the husband of the girl is presently in Dubai and therefore, she took the jewels and gone. On enquiry about that she states that the jewels have been given to known persons and she will return back to her parents. Neither she is willing to live with her parents nor interested to take care of her daughter. Page 2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis H.C.P.(MD)No.219 of 2025 4. The respondents police is directed to take necessary action for recovery of the jewels which the petitioner's daughter has taken from the house of the petitioner. 5. In view of the statement given by the petitioner's daughter, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has to work out her remedy before the competent Court, if she is aggrieved. The husband of the petitioner's daughter has to take necessary remedy if he has any grievance over her desertion. 6. Considering the above, this Habeas Corpus petition is not maintainable and stands dismissed.
