Ms. Khushbu, learned standing counsel for the State-respondents is present. 3. This Court vide order dated 02.05.2024 issued notice to the petitioner to engage another counsel due to the death of the earlier counsel Sri A.S. Chaudhari. 4. Office report dated 18.07.2024 shows that the card notice was sent to the petitioner through registered post and has returned back with remark that 'recipient is dead'. 5. Since the matter is an old one pertaining to the year 1992, this Court is of the view that the heirs and legal representatives of the petitioner, if any, might have lost interest in pursuing the case. 6. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. 7. It is made open that if any application for recall of the order is filed by the interested party the same shall be considered on its own merit, without being prejudiced by this order.
