The petitioner is the uncle-in-law of the victim who died of burn injuries. Statement of the victim given before a neighbour implicates the petitioner in the alleged offence. The statements speak about continued torture upon the victim as well as a well designed plan to eliminate her. Considering the gravity of the offence as well as prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. Case Diary be returned. The application for bail being C.R.M. (DB) No. 728 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
