The petitioners seek initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non compliance of the interim order dated January 01, 2013, passed in CMA No. 4378 of 2012 in SWP No. 2802 of 2012 (Vijay Kumar and Anr. Vs State of J&K and Ors.) vide which the Writ Court while issuing notice had also directed the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners within a specified time.
Records show that vide a subsequent order dated August 12, 2021, the main case (SWP No. 2802 of 2012) itself was transferred to the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu Bench, Jammu in view of the Notification No. G.S.R. 267(E) dated 29th April 2020 read with Notification No. G.S.R.317(E) dated 28th May 2020 issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training).
For, over 11 years have gone by, none is present on behalf of the petitioners to confirm if the matter is still pending adjudication before the Tribunal. Sr.No. 14

Thus, the Court is choiceless but to dismiss the petition for non prosecution.
Dismissed for non prosecution.
