Present Mr.N.Zequeson, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Rendy, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
During the course of hearing, Mr.M.Rendy, learned counsel for respondents has produced a copy of order dated 6.1.2025 issued by the Special Secretary (RD & PR), Government of Manipur, in compliance of order dated 11.1.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No.9 of 2024, the same is taken on record. Mr.Rendy, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the Contempt may be closed as infructuous by the subsequent events.
Mr.N.Zequeson, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted liberty to challenge the subsequent order dated 6.1.2025 issued by the respondents.
Recording the submissions made at the Bar and taking note of the subsequent developments in terms of the order dated 6.1.2025, the Contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the validity of order dated 6.1.2025, if so advised.
