According to the petitioner, he purchased a piece of land admeasuring about 100 square meters at Mount Rose Compound, Tallital, District Nainital in 2018 and thereafter he applied for mutation of his name to the Nagar Palika Parishad, however, no decision has been taken on his application. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent to forthwith mutate the name of petitioner in respect of property being 100 sq. Meter land situated at Mount Rose Compound, Tallital, District Nainital.” 5. Mr. D.S. Patni, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Nagar Palika Parishad fairly submits that decision, if already not taken on petitioner’s application, shall be taken within six weeks. He also assures that all the stakeholders, including those who have filed objection, shall also be given opportunity of hearing. 6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement made by Mr. D.S. Panti, on record.
