The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the non-payment of amount of Rs.2,41,745.96 ps. due to the Petitioner in respect of the work i.e. Internal Roads and Retaining Wall in YSR Jaganna Housing Layouts of NPI Phase-1 Programme in Pedana Urban Layouts vide Agreement No.72/2023-24/E1, dated 23.02.2024 within the limits of Pedana Municipality, Krishna District, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard Smt. D. Vasavi Ratna Kumari, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Smt. Vallabhaneni Sireesha Rani, learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent No.2-Municipality. 3. The Petitioner submits that he had completed the work mentioned above and administrative sanctions were also issued by the Respondent authorities. As the amount was not being paid, the present Writ Petition is filed. 4. The learned Standing Counsel for the Respondent No.2- Municipality on instructions submits that the work was completed on all aspects and bill was prepared amount shall be released from the Government and whenever the amounts released the due amount will be paid to the Writ Petitioner. The signed instructions of the Commissioner, Pedana Municipality are placed on record. 5. As there is no dispute regarding execution of work and the amount due to the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, with the consent of both sides counsel, with the following direction: 3 (i) The Respondent authorities are directed to pay the amount due to the Petitioner within a period of four (4) months from today. There shall be no order as to costs.
