According to the petitioners, they are serving in Security and Fisheries Departments of G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology since 2006 & 2007 respectively, however, their claim for regularisation is not being considered so far. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:- “i) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent University to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularize their services, as per applicable Rules, in their respective working place and pay them regular salary. ii) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the competent authority to the respondent University, to take the decision on the application dated 05.08.2025, moved by the petitioners (Annexure No. 4).” 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that since petitioners have made a representation on 05.08.2025, which is pending before Establishment Officer of the University, 2025:UHC:9124 therefore, the Establishment Officer be directed to take decision on the said representation. 6. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representation, if already not decided, shall be decided within four months. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Establishment Officer to consider and decide petitioner’s representation dated 05.08.2025 (Annexure-4 to the writ petition), within four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
