By means of this application, the applicants have prayed for the following main relief:- "WHEREFORE, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quashed the proceedings of Criminal Appeal No.2556 of 2010 titled as Karam Raj Verma & others Versus State of U.P. pending in this Hon'ble court against the judgment and order dated 09.09.2010 passed by Room no. 12 Additional Session Judge/ F.T.C. IIIrd Sultanpur, in S.T. No. 89/2009, State vs. Karam Raj and others, U/S 308,323,324,504,506 IPC, P.S. Sangrampur, District Sultanpur, convicting and sentencing the appellants u/s 323/34 IPC to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of Rs. 500/-each, and U/S 324/34 IPC to undergo rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay fine of Rs. 500/- each and U/S 504 IPC to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of Rs. 500/- each and U/S 506 IPC to undergo simple imprisonment for one year and to pay fine of Rs. 500/- each in default of payment of fine to undergo for the imprisonment for a period of 6-6 month each appellants against the petitioner, on the basis of compromise dated 16.12.2024 between the petitioners and opposite party no. 2 to 4." On being confronted, learned counsel for the applicants says that he does not want to press this application for the main relief sought, quoted above, and it may accordingly be dismissed as not pressed. The aforesaid has not been opposed. In view of the above, the instant application is dismissed as not pressed.
