Since common issue is involved in these two writ petitions, they have been clubbed together, heard together and are being decided by this common order. 5 2. Learned counsel for the respondent No.4 submits that the amount of Rs.31,63,721/- has already been deposited before the Tehsildar and the same has been disbursed to the concerned workmen as gratuity. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said amount deposited is not in accordance with entitlement of the petitioner. Thus, they are raising dispute regarding the quantum of gratuity amount. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and considered their rival submissions. 5. Since there is dispute of the gratuity amount, the petitioners can very-well take this plea before the concerned Assistant Labour Commissioner, who is competent authority, under the provisions of Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 to decide the dispute under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. 6.
