The applicants have been arrested in connection with Crime No.182/2016 registered at Police Station – Surajpur, District – Surajpur SIDDHANT TAMRAKAR Digitally signed by SIDDHANT TAMRAKAR Date: 2025.03.18 10:17:52 +0530 2 (C.G.) for alleged commission of offences under Section 420, 120-B of IPC and Section 4, 5 and 6 of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (Banning) Act, 1978 and Section 10 of C.G. Protection of Depositors Interest Act, 2005. 4. Prosecution case, in brief, is that the complainant – Ranmat Bai made a complaint that on the pretext of getting excess money, the Directors of the company called PACL company, in connivance with other accused persons, induced the depositors to deposit money. 5. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that there are multiple FIRs registered against the present applicants with identical allegations and in some other crime numbers, the applicants have been released on bail. It is submitted that the similarly situated persons have already been enlarged on bail by this Court in MCRC/6537/2023, MCRC/10038/2022 and MCRCA/951/2018 annexed as Annexure A/2 with the bail application; thus, he would pray that the applicants may be enlarged on bail. 6. On the other hand, learned State counsel opposes prayer but could not dispute that on similar allegations, multiple FIRs have been lodged against the applicants and they have been released on bail in some crime numbers. 7. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the case diary. 8. Taking into consideration the submission made by learned counsel for the parties and that the similarly situated co-accused persons have already been enlarged on bail by this Court in MCRC/6537/2023, MCRC/10038/2022 and MCRCA/951/2018, I am inclined to grant bail to the applicant. 9. Accordingly, the application is allowed. It is directed that the applicants shall be released on bail on their furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- each along with one local surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court on the condition that - a) They shall appear before the trial Court regularly on each and every date, unless exempted from appearance. 3 b) They shall not make any attempt to tamper with the prosecution witnesses. 10.
