According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, petitioner 1, namely, Parveen Akhter being fully eligible was engaged as Anganwadi Worker, whereas petitioner 2, namely, Asmit Jahan was engaged as Anganwari Helper in Anganwadi Centre Phalnie Mora Mang vide orders dated 04.01.2011 issued by the Child Development Project Officer, ICDS Project, Budhal. 2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, when they were discharging their duties sincerely and with dedication, respondent 3 herein being State Mission Directorate all of a sudden vide Order No.13-SMD of 2015 dated 22.04.2015 ordered termination of stop gap/adhoc arrangements of Anganwadi Workers and Helpers including the petitioners herein, feeling SWP No. 1664/2015 Page 2 of 3 aggrieved whereof, the petitioners herein filed the instant petition, seeking the following reliefs: “(a) Allow this petition with a prayer to quash order No. 13-SMD of 2015 dated 22.04.2015 issued by the respondent No. 3 which has effect of disengagement/termination of the services of the petitioners as Anganwadi Worker and Helper engaged and discharging duties as such in Anganwari Centre, Mohra Mang in District Rajouri; (b) With a further prayer to command the respondents to allow the petitioners to discharge their duties as Anganwadi Worker and Helper having been engaged and continued for numbers of years and discharging their duties to the best satisfaction of the authorities as on date. (c) Any other writ, order or direction, which this Court may deem just and proper in the given facts and circumstances of the case may also be passed in favour of the petitioners and against the respondents.” 3. Record reveals that while issuing notice to the respondents in the instant petition, this Court vide order dated 02.06.2015, as an interim, stayed the impugned order dated 22.04.2015, with a further direction to the respondents to allow the petitioners herein to continue in the Centre where they were working in terms of their engagement/extension order. 4. Today, when the case was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioners produced a copy of judgment dated 23.05.2018 delivered by a coordinate Bench of this Court in a batch of writ petitions with lead case being SWP No.1222/2015, titled as, “Sunita Kumar and others vs. State of J&K and others.” and would submit that the issues involved in the present case already stand settled therein the said case, as the impugned order dated 22.04.2015 has been quashed in respect of petitioners therein the SWP No.1222/2015 and other connected matters. The learned counsel would, therefore, pray that the present SWP No. 1664/2015 Page 3 of 3 petition as well be disposed of in the same manner and on the same lines as SWP No. 1222/2015 and the connected matters came to be disposed of, to which learned counsel for respondents expressed no objection. 5. Accordingly, the instant petition is admitted to hearing and with the consensus of learned counsel for the parties is disposed of while treating the impugned order dated 22.04.2015 as quashed qua the petitioners herein, with a direction to the respondents to treat the case of the petitioners herein at par with the petitioners in SWP No.1222/2015 (supra) and eligible and entitled to all other reliefs which stand granted to the petitioners therein the said SWP No. 1222/2015 (supra). 6. Disposed of, along with connected application(s). 7. Registry to place a copy of judgment delivered in SWP No. 1222/2015 on the record of the present petition.
