The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "(i). to direct the opposite party no.1 i.e. Commissioner, Lucknow Division, Lucknow to decide the case of petitioner pending before him bearing Appeal/Case No. 1955/2023 (Computerized Case No. C202310000001955) "Fazal Ahmad Versus State of U.P. through District Magistrate, Sitapur) under section 18 of the Fire Arms Act expeditiously as soon as possible or within stipulated period of time as framed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the aforesaid prayer, it is directed that the trial court shall endeavour to decide the aforesaid pending case with all expedition, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.
