The present petition has been filed being aggrieved by the non- consideration of the representation submitted on 15.03.2023 by the petitioner to the Registrar General, Gauhati High Court for compassionate appointment. 3. It is relevant to take note of that the father of the petitioner had taken voluntary retirement in the year 2019 and the Scheme for compassionate appointment for Gauhati High Court, Principal Seat and the District Court Establishment of Assam dated 03.01.2017 has been discontinued w.e.f. 19.04.2018. 4. Upon this notification being shown to Mr. M. Bhagawati, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, he submits that the petitioner would not like to press the instant petition. 5.
