This application has been moved by the applicant/appellant for release of the award amount along with interest deposited in the Registry of this Court in MA No. 307/2013 titled Faiz Ali Vs. Br. Manager, New India Ins. Co. Ltd. & Anr decided on 27.09.2025, in his favour. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant/appellant submits that the amount has been deposited by the respondents and to that effect, he had made a mention in the application which is supported by an affidavit and prayed that amount be released in favour of the applicant/appellant. 3. Since the main appeal i.e. MA No. 307/2013 came to be disposed of vide order dated 27.09.2025, enhancing the compensation from an amount of Rs. 7.00 lacs to Rs. 13.50 lacs and that the enhanced amount has not been paid to the applicant/appellant, though deposited in the Registry. 4. For the reasons assigned in the application, the application is allowed and the enhanced amount deposited in the Registry is ordered to be released in Serial No. 02 2 CM No. 1628/2026 favour of the applicant/appellant along with interest accrued thereon under rules, after proper verification and charge of Court fee as well. 5.
