This short term bail application is filed on the ground that marriage of daughter of the applicant, namely, Priya was scheduled on 12.02.2025 at Village- Aliyapur, Post- Maigalganj, District- Lakhimpur Kheri (photocopy of the invitation card is annexed as Annexure No.2). 3. After hearing learned counsel for the applicant on 05.02.2025, learned A.G.A. was directed to seek instructions from concerned police station about marriage of daughter of the applicant, which was scheduled on 12.02.2025 and the matter was listed on 07.02.2025. On 07.02.2025, written instructions dated 06.02.2025 duly signed by Mr. Ramesh Chandra Pandey, Station House Officer, Police Station- Maigalganj, District- Lakhimpur Kheri were placed before this Court. 4. After considering the aforesaid instructions, Station House Officer was directed to ensure the presence of deponent, namely, Rinki w/o Shravan r/o Village- Aliyapur, Baikuna, Police Station- Maigalganj, District- Lakhimpur Kheri, Aadhar Card No. 250905016018. 2 The deponent is present today before this Court along with Sub Inspector- Rajpal Singh, Police Station- Maigalganj, District- Lakhimpur Kheri. 5. An inquiry was conducted by the police personnel about the scheduled marriage date of daughter of the applicant and it was reported that her marriage was scheduled on 12.02.2025. 6. Learned A.G.A. informs that video recording of the statement of the daughter of the applicant was also made, in which, she did not explain about the place of her marriage. 7. Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties and going through the contents of report dated 06.02.2025 as well as other relevant documents, it is evident from the report dated 06.02.2025 that the alleged marriage of the daughter of the applicant was not scheduled on 12.02.2025 at Village- Aliyapur, Maigalganj, Lakhimpur Kheri. 8. The aforesaid report dated 06.02.2025, which is on record, is as under:- 3 9. In view of above, this bail application is misconceived and the same is dismissed with cost of Rs. 25,000/-. 10. District Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri is directed to recover the aforesaid amount from the deponent- Rinki w/o Shravan r/o Village- Aliyapur, Baikuna, Police Station- Maigalganj, District- Lakhimpur Kheri and transmit the same to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, forthwith. 11. Office is directed to communicate this order to District Magistrate, Lakhimpur Kheri, forthwith.
