JUSTICE MOKSHA KHAJURIA KAZMI, JUDGE ORDER 23.12.2025 01. On 11.07.2025, parties were referred for mediation to explore the possibility of an amicable settlement between them. Report of the Mediator, Ms. Neena Mishra is placed on record, who has stated that the parties have entered into an agreement and the settlement has been arrived at between the parties in presence of their counsels. Sr. No. 145 2 02. Mac App No.122/2022 As per report of the mediator, parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, by virtue of which, the appellant shall pay Rs.2,30,000/- to the respondents along with interest on account of compensation as awarded by the Tribunal from the claim petition till its realization. It has further been agreed by the respondents that they shall have no objections for the refund/release of the excess amount along with interest on the excess amount in favour of the appellant. 03. Mac App No.123/2022 As per report of the mediator, parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, by virtue of which, the appellant shall pay Rs.5,00,000/- to the respondents along with interest on account of compensation as awarded by the Tribunal from the claim petition till its realization. It has further been agreed by the respondents that they shall have no objections for the refund/release of the excess amount along with interest on the excess amount in favour of the appellant. 04. Mac App No.124/2022 As per report of the mediator, parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, by virtue of which, the appellant shall pay Rs.6,65,700/- to the respondents along with interest on account of compensation as awarded by the Tribunal from the claim petition till its realization. It has further been agreed by the respondents that they shall have no objections for the refund/release of the excess amount along with interest on the excess amount in favour of the appellant. 05. Mac App No.125/2022 As per report of the mediator, parties have arrived at an amicable settlement, by virtue of which, the appellant shall pay Rs.1,17,000/- to the 3 respondents along with interest on account of compensation as awarded by the Tribunal from the claim petition till its realization. It has further been agreed by the respondents that they shall have no objections for the refund/release of the excess amount along with interest on the excess amount in favour of the appellant. 06. In view of the above, the present appeals are disposed of. The awards impugned in these appeals are modified in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties before the Mediator. Registry shall release the amount in favour of the claimants in terms of the modified award safter proper verification and identification. The excess amount, if any shall be refunded to the appellant-Insurance Company. 07. Disposed of. 08. Registry shall place a copy of this order on each file.
