Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, they are clubbed together and are being heard & decided by a common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity, facts of Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1649 of 2025 alone are being considered and discussed. 5. Petitioner is retired employee of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. According to him, he was entitled to full benefit of 6th Pay Commission effective from 1.1.2006, however, he was not granted such benefit, although other similarly situate employees were given full benefits of 6th Pay Commission. 6. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- 2025:UHC:9129 “a. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission effective from 1.1.2006, along with all arrears and applicable interest.” 7. Learned counsel for the Uttarakhand Transport Corporation Submits that petitioner has prayed for issuing a writ of mandamus and he has also made a representation to an authority, who is not competent to take decision in the matter. 8. The writ petitions are, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make representation(s) to the Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. If petitioners make representation(s), within three weeks from today, the Managing Director shall look into the matter and take decision, as per law, within four months thereafter.
