04.04.2025 Mr. Rustam, learned counsel, appears for the petitioner; Ms. I. Bimola, learned counsel, appears for respondent No. 4. Mr. S. Jasobanta, learned counsel, appears for respondent No. 8. Mr. M. Devananda, learned Additional Advocate General, Manipur, assisted by Ms. N. Jyotsana, learned counsel for respondent No. 6, placed before this Court a copy of letter No. Pen/4-70/Court Case/2010-2011 dated 18.03.2025 and informed that the Provisional Pension and Service Gratuity in respect of Shri L. Jila Singh, retired Joint Director Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Department has been issued vide PPO No. SM/28578 and GPO No. 122529565 respectively. A copy of the proceeding is also enclosed with the aforesaid letter dated 18.03.2025. In the light of the above letter, learned Additional Advocate General, Manipur, submits that the order of this Court has been complied with. However, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the amount has not been credited to the account of the petitioner. Learned Additional Advocate General, Manipur, undertakes that necessary instruction will be given to the District Treasury Officer, Imphal East, to take necessary steps for crediting the said amount to the account of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today. Recording the said statement, the present contempt petition stands closed. A copy of this order is marked to the District Treasury Officer, Imphal East.
