St 1®‘ petitioner was appointed as Public Health Worker in the I year 2002 and petitioners 2 to 4 have been appointed as Sanitary Maistry at different periods. All petitioners were appointed on compassionate grounds. Petitioners have completed Diploma in Public Health and Sanitation Technology in the year 2018 and their services were regularized. 3. 4. Petitioners claim that they are eligible and qualified for promotion to the post of Health Assistants and that in respect of various other Municipalities and Corporations, persons who have been working as Health Workers/ Sanitary Maistrys were I considered for promotion to the post of Health Assistants. 3 CGR, J W.P. Learner counsel for petitioners by referring to proceedings Roc.No.1353/2013/A1, dated 12.01.2022 which relates to Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation, submits that Public Health Workers and Sanitary Maistrys were duly considered in i that particular case for promotion to the post of Health Assistant, therefore, similar benefit be extended to the petitioners. Petitioners have submitted representation dated 07.11.2023 to 1®* respondent, however, the same is pending and no orders have been passed so far. 6. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I appearing for 2’^'* respondent and learned Standing Counsel appearing for 1®‘ respondent submits that the representation made by petitioners will be considered in accordance with law. 7. In view of the aforesaid submission, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 1®* respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representationsubmitted by the petitioners dated 07.11.2023 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
