This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6391 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicants, namely, Ashish Kumar Mandal and Mo. Sahid Aalam had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 impediment. 3. Earlier on two occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 06.11.2023. 4. The learned 5th Additional Sessions Judge, Ambikapur District- Sarguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 16.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the statements of the prosecution witnesses were recorded and the prosecution evidence was closed. Subsequently, final arguments were advanced and the prosecution filed an application to produce additional documents. Furthermore, an application under Section 311 of the Cr.P.C. was submitted to recall Investigating OfÏcer Alrik Lakra for further evidence. In view of the same, the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion therefore, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
