(2) Petitioner is serving as Marketing Inspector in Food and Civil Supply Department of the State Government. He was transferred to Ramnagar (Nainital) vide order dated 9.6.2025. In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the order dated 29.9.2025, passed by Regional Food Controller, whereby he has been attached at Sainik Farm, Rudrapur till further orders. (3) It is contended by learned Counsel for the petitioner that since petitioner was transferred to Ramnagar only in June 2025, therefore, there is no reason or justification, whatsoever, to transfer him again, within less than four months, to Rudrapur. It is further contended that petitioner has shifted his entire family to Ramnagar and, now, he will again have to shift his family to Rudrapur. (4) Learned State Counsel was asked to get instructions. Today, on instructions, Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht submits that because of the ongoing purchase of paddy, an additional purchase centre has been opened at Sainik Farm, Rudrapur and due to work pressure, petitioner has been attached at Sainik Farm, Rudrapur only till current purchase season and once the purchase season is over, petitioner will go back to the place of his original posting i.e. Ramnagar. 2025:UHC:9029 (5) Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the statement made by learned State Counsel, now, petitioner does not have any grievance. (6) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by taking the statement made by learned State Counsel on record.
