Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing the impugned FIR dated 10.07.2025 registered as FIR No.200 of 2025 under Section 191(2), 191(3), 351(2), 351(3) & 352 of BNS, 2023, registered at P.S. Kankhal, District Haridwar (contained as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition) qua the petitioner as the investigating officer called the petitioner to receive notice under Section 35(3)/6 of BNSS. Further prayer has been made directing the respondent nos.1 & 2 not to arrest the petitioner in connection with aforesaid FIR. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the petitioner not being involved or neither being named in the present matter, he is being harassed and being called by the police in the police station, thus the relief is sought for. 5. Learned State counsel further makes a submission that fortify the report from the concerned police station that the present petitioner is not involved an neither named in the present matter as during the investigation “the name of Shatrughan Jha (petitioner)” is nowhere being named. 6. The report submitted by the investigating officer is taken on record. 7. As per the instructions and as the report submitted by learned State counsel, the present matter is disposed of accordingly.
