Through the medium of instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners seek a writ of mandamus commanding the official respondents to demarcate ownership land of the petitioners bearing measuring 69 Kanal [Khewat No. 37/37, Khata No. 73, Khasra No. 254], measuring 58 Kanal 3 marlas [Khewat No. 113 Khata No. 220 Khasra No. 256], measuring 52 Kanal 10 marlas [Khewat No. 116/37, Khata No. 222/73, Khasra No. 254], measuring 31 Kanal [Khewat No. 130/128 Khata No. 352, 330, Khasra No. 247] situated in Village Ghani of Tehsil Mendhar (Now Tehsil Mankote). 02. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners at length and perused the record. 03. After arguing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would feel satisfied, in case the respondent No. 5-Tehsildar Mankote, is directed to treat the instant writ petition as representation and to accord due consideration to the same within some reasonable time, to which, on the asking of the Court, Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Assisting Counsel, S. No. 189 2 WP(C) No. 2777/2025 who has caused appearance on behalf of respondents 1 to 5 vice Mrs.Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG, has no serious objection. 04. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of, at the threshold with a direction to the respondent No. 5-Tehsildar Mankote to consider the claim of the petitioners by treating this writ petition as representation and take a decision thereon strictly under rules and as per law and pass a consideration order within a period of four weeks from the date a certified copy of this order alongwith complete set of writ petition along with annexures are made available to the said respondent. The order of consideration, which is likely to be passed, be forwarded to the petitioners through registered post. 01. Disposed of, as above alongwith connected application.
