None appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this Writ Petition, however, Ms. Gursimran Kaur, holding brief of Ms. Aprajita Bansal, learned counsel for the opposite party No.5 is present. The petitioner's husband died as a result of electricity shock. The petitioner has already received Rs.5,00,000/- as compensation on 22.09.2021 from the Electricity Department. Accordingly, her claim for compensation under the Mukhmantri Krishak Durghatna Bima Yojna has been declined on 16.08.2023 by the impugned order in view of the provision contained in G.O. dated 28.02.2020, para 7 whereof excludes the applicability of the present scheme where compensation has been received in any other scheme.
