(2) Saini Sabha, Haridwar is a society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. There are two executive committees, which are claiming to be in effective control over the affairs of the society. One of such committee has filed this writ petition seeking the following relief: “I. Issue a writ, order or direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the representations dated 26.09.2025 & 04.10.2025 (Contained in Annexure nos. 3 & 5 respectively) as early as possible, preferably within time which is given by this Hon’ble Court” (3) According to petitioner, it has made representation to the Deputy Registrar, Firms, Societies and Chits, Haridwar on 26.9.2025, followed by another representation dated 4.10.2025. Learned Counsel for the petitioner prayed that Deputy Registrar be directed to take decision on those representations. (4) Learned Counsel appearing for the respondent no. 3, however, submits that the concerned Deputy Registrar has issued a letter on 30.9.2025 to the Registrar flagging certain issues pertaining to the affairs of the society, therefore the Registrar be directed 2025:UHC:9031 to examine the matter, as per law. (5) Writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the Registrar within one week from today. If petitioner makes representation within stipulated time, the Registrar shall look into the matter and take appropriate decision, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. (6) It goes without saying that all stake holders including respondent no. 3 shall be given opportunity of hearing.
