The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order and judgment passed by the writ Court in SWP No. 2191/2006 dated July 12, 2013. Whereby, the respondent- authorities were directed to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services in terms of SRO 64 of 1994 dated 24.03.1994 with effect from the date he completed his seven years of continuous service and while taking into consideration Govt. Order No. 1285-GAD of 2001 dated 06.11.2001 within a specified period. 02. Learned counsel for the respondents, at the outset, has drawn the attention of this Court to the Compliance report dated December 02, 2019, filed by the respondents. And, with reference to the averments set out in the para no.2 thereof, she submits that in compliance to the judgment dated July 12, 2013, the case of the petitioner was considered and same being devoid of merit, was rejected vide S.F. Order No. 86 of 2018 dated October 26, 2018 issued by respondent no.1. (Annexure- R1). Faced with this, learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
