The present Application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.869 of 2025, “State Vs. Purushottam and Others”, pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Roorkee, District Haridwar under Sections 323, 498A, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 1 2025:UHC:8875 2. Heard Mr. Bhuwan Bhatt, learned counsel for the applicants, Mr. Chitrarth Kandpal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1 and Mr. Mehul Joshi, learned counsel for the respondent no.2- informant/victim. 3. Applicants-accused are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Bhuwan Bhatt, Advocate. The respondent no.2-Smt. Vaishali Saini- informant, is present through video conferencing. She is identified by Mr. Mehul Joshi, Advocate. 4. Applicant no.1 is the husband of the respondent no.2. Applicant no.2 is the father and the applicant no.3 is the mother of the applicant no.1. 5. The applicants and the respondent no.2 submitted that there were matrimonial disputes. They have settled their disputes. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.01 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. 6. The respondent no.2 has requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.869 of 2025. 7. The said request of the respondent no.2 has not been opposed by the respondent no.1. 2 2025:UHC:8875 8. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.869 of 2025, “State Vs. Purushottam and Others”, pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Roorkee, District Haridwar, are quashed. 9. Resultantly, the present Application filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.869 of 2025, “State Vs.
