The claim of the petitioner is that she was allotted the subject property under the Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation Scheme vide G.0.171/G.0121 (2010-2011), and the necessary funds amounting to Rs.85,000/- were sanctioned in three installments for construction of house and possession certificate was also issued by the Tahsildar Office. 03. While so, one Yalanati Kishore Babu, filed a civil suit bearing O.S.No.61/2016 before the Principal Junior Civil Judge, Chirala seeking for injunction, however the said suit was dismissed. Aggrieved by the same, the Yalanati Kishore Babu filed appeal vide A.S.No.4 of 2025 before the Senior Civil Judge Court, Chirala and the same is pending. Though the petitioner submitted application on 17.02.2025 to the Respondent authorities to mutate her name in the house tax. the not considered and hence, the present writ petition is filed. same was 04. The learned Standing Counsel passed on the written instructions to the Court signed by the Commissioner, Chirala Municipality, wherein it was mentioned that the subject property tax has been assigned with assessment N0.1032015611 in the name of Yalanati Kishore. 05. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for Municipality. 06. Perused the material available on record. 07. Taking the submissions of both the learned counsel into consideration and the nature of relief sought for in the writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by passing the following directions to the parties; i) The Writ Petitioner shall file an application before the Respondent authority seeking for mutation and house tax in her name along with necessary documents within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the Order. ✓ 4 On such application, the Respondent authority is directed to consider and pass appropriate Orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (04) weeks thereafter.
