O R D E R This writ petition has been filed to to call for the records of the building license No.008/BL/2021/00385 dated 22.09.2021 on the file of the 2 nd respondent and to quash the same. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the order passed by this Court dated 11.01.2022, the respondents/corporation was directed to verify the land and to file a report with sketch and photographs. On 27.03.2025, the respondents inspected the land and found that there is no construction and business 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.460 of 2022 activities taken place in the subject property. 4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the inspection has been carried out on 27.03.2025. The respondents 2 and 3 filed status report before this Court on 21.04.2025, the relevant paragraph is extracted hereunder :- “5. I respectfully submit that this respondent visited the site on 27.03.2025 along with the petitioner, as directed by this Hon'ble Court. As of the date of inspection, there is no gas agency operating on the disputed site. An incomplete building in an abandoned condition exists on the site, which remains unused.” 5. Recording the submissions made on either side, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
