By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is owner of land bearing khasra No. 1473/3 area 0.03 situated at village Parasada, P.H.N. 14, R.N.M. Tahsil Hasoud Dist. Sakti preferred the present writ petition seeking a direction towards the respondents for payment of compensation, as the land of the petitioner is coming within the submerged area of Mironi Barrage stop dam. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the dam has been constructed in the year 2013-14 and the similarly situated persons whose lands were coming in the submerged area of dam has been given compensation by award dated 25.01.2017, but though the petitioner land is also coming between the submerged area nor the compensation has been paid to the petitioner nor any acquisition proceedings has been drawn. 3. Learned State counsel submits that the respondent No. 4/ SDO (Revenue) will make a spot inspection of the land of the petitioner, in presence of the petitioner, within a period of 45 days and if it is found that the land of the petitioner is coming within the submerged area of Mironi Barrage stop dam necessary steps for acquisition of land will be initiated and compensation will be paid 3 / 3 to the petitioner. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and the representation submitted by the petitioner to various authorities including the SDO, Collector and Executive Engineer, Water Resources. 5. Considering the submission made by the learned State counsel, the petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 4/ SDO (Revenue), Sakti to make a spot inspection of the land of the petitioner, within a period of 45 days, in presence of the petitioner and after verification, if it is found that the land of the petitioner is coming in the submerged area of Mironi Barrage stop dam, then the respondent No. 2 is directed to take necessary steps for acquisition of the land of the petitioner and ensure proper compensation is paid to the petitioner, as per law. 6.
