2. Petitioner seeks higher stage of pay, i.e. Rs.40,100/-, on completion of two years of regular service as Drawing Master in accordance with notification dated 06.09.2022.
3. Petitioner was appointed as Drawing Master on contract basis in the respondent-department on 15.02.2019 (Annexure P-1). His services was regularized on 10.01.2022 (Annexure P-2). On being appointed on regular basis on 10.01.2022, petitioner was placed in the
2 pay-scale of Rs.35,600/-. Petitioner’s claim for Rs.40,100/- on completion of two years of regular service on the strength of notification dated 06.09.2022, amending Revised Pay Rules 2022, is covered under the decision rendered in CWP No. 1638 of 2024 titled as Mohit Sharma & Anr. Vs. State of Himachal Pradesh & Ors. Since, the present petition is covered in view of law laid down in the said case, therefore, there is no necessity for calling the reply.
4. This writ petition is accordingly allowed. Respondents are directed to release the higher stage of pay of Rs.40,100/- to the petitioner w.e.f. his completing two years of regular service as Drawing Master. This to be done within four weeks from today. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of. April 28, 2025 (Sandeep Sharma), (sunil)
