Also heard Mr. K K Parasar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of regular Page No.# 2/2 bail in respect of Badarpur PS Case No. 48/2025. 3. The petitioner Md. Jabir was arrested in this case and it is an admitted fact that he has been in custody for the last 62 days. The offences for which the petitioner was arrested stipulates the maximum period of detention of 60 days. No charge sheet has been filed till date. 4. Therefore, the petitioner is entitled to default bail. His bail application is allowed. 5. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Md. Jabir, who was arrested in connection with Badarpur PS Case No. 48/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Sribhumi.
