Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed challenging the cancellation order dated 03.01.2025. 3. The main contention of the Counsel for the petitioner is that while remanding the matter, the appellate court had given certain directions, however, the order has been passed without complying the said directions by the appellate authority. He further argues that no right of hearing was provided to the petitioner. 4. Considering the submission of the Counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the record, there does not appear to be a right of hearing granted to the petitioner, thus, on the sole ground, the order dated 03.01.2025 is quashed. The writ petition is allowed. 5. The matter is remanded to the licensing authority to pass fresh orders. While doing so, the opportunity of hearing shall also be given to the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the licensing authority along with a copy of this order on 05.02.2025 at 10:00 noon. The licensing authority thereafter shall pass order in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing. 6. In case the petitioner is not appeared on the said date, the order shall automatically come to an end.
