DATTA PURKAYASTHA _O_R_D_E_R_ 26.08.2025 Heard Mr. Purusuttam Roy Barman, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr. Pradyumna Gautam, learned senior G.A. has appeared for respondents No.1 & 2 and waives service of notice upon them. With the consent of both sides, the case is being disposed of today at the motion stage. The case of the petitioner is that earlier he was posted as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Dasarath Deb Memorial College (DDMC), Khowai, in the discipline of Chemistry and vide memorandum dated 05.03.2019, he was transferred to Ambedkar College, Fatikroy. Thereafter, he duly joined there on 12.06.2019 and since then he has been discharging his duties. The grievance of the petitioner is that his mother, a nonagenarian, is suffering from different ailments and is bedridden now at Khowai, and for that reason, the petitioner submitted one representation to respondent No.2 on 01.03.2024 (Annexure-5 to the writ petition) to consider the matter of his transfer from Ambedkar College to DDMC, Khowai, on compassionate ground of illness of his mother. However, no response was received by him regarding the said representation. Thereafter, he again sent another reminder dated 04.10.2024 (Annexure-7 to the writ petition) but that also went unresponded. With that grievance, the present writ petition has been filed. Mr. Pradyumna Gautam, learned senior G.A., submits that he has no objection if the case is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 01.03.2024 and reminder dated 04.10.2024. Considered the submissions of both sides. Without making any observation on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner’s representations dated 01.03.2024 and reminder dated 04.10.2024 by a reasoned order within 4(four) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With such direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stands disposed of.
