Considering the order proposed to be passed, issuance of notice to opposite party no.5 is dispensed with. 3. In response to our order dated 29.01.2025, Sri Ajay Dwivedi, District Magistrate, Shrawasti has joined the proceedings through video conferencing along with Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ikauna, Shrawasti. On being asked, the District Magistrate informed us that it is the S.D.M., Ikauna who has registered the application/ complaint of the petitioner under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and Uttar Pradesh Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2014 and he will now proceed with the matter. 4. In view of this, we dispose of this petition with a direction to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Ikauna to consider and dispose of the said application/ complaint in accordance with law after hearing the affected parties within three months. While taking such decision, the S.D.M. shall take into consideration our order passed in WRIT - C No. - 9713 of 2024 'Syed Hashmat Husain And Others Vs.State Of U.P.
