The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for willful/deliberate violation of the order passed by this Court in SWP No. 2495 of 2013 (Raj Kumar Dabgotra Vs State of J&K and Anr.) decided on November 21, 2013: “This petition, at request, is disposed of with a direction to respondents to accord consideration to the representation claimed to have been made by the petitioner, of course, in accordance with the rules occupying the field and take decision thereon within a period of six weeks from the date copy of the order is served upon them. Petitioner may on his part, handover copy of petition and copies of its annexures to respondents so as to facilitate early decision in the matter. Disposed of along with connected CMA(s).” 2. Learned counsel for the respondent, at the outset, has drawn the attention of the Court to Paragraph 2 of the statement of facts, per which in compliance to the order dated November 21, 2013, the competent Authority had considered the claim of the petitioner and it was found that he (R.K. Dabgotra) was next eligible incumbent for placement as I/C Executive Engineer, under Social Caste Category and would be considered in the relevant category as per roster on the basis of his merit in seniority under OBC Category: “That in compliance to the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court dated 21.11.2013 in SWP No. 2495/2013. The case of the petitioner was examined and considered and it is found that Shri R.K. Dabgotra is next eligible incumbent for placement as I/C Executive Engineer, under Social Caste Category and he will be considered in the relevant Sr.No. 13 CPSW No. 15/2014 Page 2 of 2 category as per the roster on the basis of his merit in seniority under social caste category” 3. In the wake of the above, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
