1. In this petition filed by the UT of Jammu & Kashmir under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, an order and judgment dated 19.12.2024 passed in OA No. 61/1555/2023 is a subject matter of challenge.
2. During the course of hearing of this matter, Mr. F.A Natnoo, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, Mr. Chaman Lal & Mushtaq Ahmed stated at bar that the OA No. 61/1555/2023 had been rendered infructuous on the date it was decided by the Tribunal along with other connected matters in terms of the impugned judgment.
3. He, therefore, submits that he has instructions from the respondents not to press the aforesaid OA having been rendered infructuous. Statement of
learned counsel appearing for the respondents is taken on record.
4. In view of the aforesaid, this petition is allowed and impugned judgment dated 19.12.2024 passed by the Tribunal is set aside. The OA No. 61/1555/2023 filed by the respondents is dismissed as not pressed.
